Workshops

Exploring Consciousness

The workshops are normally divided in two parts. The first half is comprised by a small
introductory talk to the study of consciousness: its history, evolution, and the main players &
concepts put forward by the leading contributors to the field at present. The second part is
more hands on where the participants will “create a neuron” that will become part of the
installation, or “draw” consciousness.
Depending on the demographic of the attendees, the content of the workshop will be tailored
to fit the audience. It is suitable for both children, and adults. The workshop creates a space,
and time for participants to reflect on the theme of consciousness, promoting dialogue,

stimulating the imagination, and inducing curiosity.
